Crownstead is a historic manor house in Lincoln, New Zealand that has its own old traditions. Locals know it as a residence with deep cultural significance, once again, they have their own old traditions. The manor is home to the esteemed Lee family, descendants of an ancient noble lineage known for their wisdom and wealth. The family’s presence was known for their regal mystique and storied heritage to Crownstead, a symbol of both legacy and continuity. At certain times, the manor hosts special gatherings called “banquets”. These banquets, or shall we call it “batches”, each have a unique theme and story. Each opening will present a new story, as this system ensures that no batch repeats the same concept two openings in a row. This distinctive approach has turned Crownstead into a well-known cultural landmark in New Zealand. Visitors are drawn by its attention to detail and exceptional, one-of-a-kind programs.
The Banquet
Banquet I: Gourmet Gauntlet

Inspired by the Netflix series 흑백요리사 (Culinary Class Wars), our first inaugural Banquet will introduce a competitive cooking concept, dividing chefs into two categories: Silver Spoon and Black Spoon.Silver Spoon chefs are those with well-established expertise and a long history in the culinary world, their names recognized by all. Black Spoon chefs, on the other hand, are those who have made their mark with unique restaurants, with recognition based more on their establishments than their personal fame. For this Banquet, each chef will submit their dishes based on specific requests from the Lee family, using a specially designed form. The family will evaluate not only the culinary skills of the chefs but also their ability to craft a compelling story behind each dish, proving they are the best.Disclaimer:
If you haven't watched Culinary Class Wars, rest assured, each session will come with its own set of instructions, made to guide you through every step. Whether you're familiar with the show or not, you are welcome to compete, with no need for prior knowledge. Simply bring your skills, your creativity, and your passion for the craft.

Inspired by the intense medical drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, our second Banquet will throw participants into the relentless world of emergency medicine—where the right call can save a life, and hesitation can mean the end. This time, competitors will be called as resident or specialist and divided into five specialized trauma units as each unit represents a critical field in life-saving care:- Neurology Unit – Experts in the brain and nervous system, handling everything from traumatic brain injuries to life-threatening strokes.
- Cardiology Unit – Masters of the heart and blood vessels, fighting against cardiac arrests, heart failures, and sudden collapses.
- Anesthesiology Unit – The unseen guardians of life, controlling pain, sedation, and vital signs during the most high-risk procedures.
- Surgical Unit – The hands that cut, mend, and reconstruct, taking on everything from internal bleeding to emergency organ transplants.
- Orthopedic Unit – The architects of movement, specializing in broken bones, crushed limbs, and catastrophic physical trauma. For this Banquet, each unit will be assigned high-stakes trauma cases, based on directives from the Crownstead University Hospital Medical Board. To make it into the team, resident or specialist must prove their decision-making under pressure, adaptability in unpredictable crises, and teamwork in the face of chaos.Disclaimer:
If you haven't watched The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, don’t worry. Each session will come with clear instructions and is designed to guide you through the challenges ahead. Whether you’re familiar with the show or not, you’re welcome to participate—no prior knowledge required. All we need is your commitment to the call of duty. Will you prove you have what it takes to save lives?
Lee Sibling

Robert Lee, the older brother, born on December 20, 1997, known for his modern noble hobby; curating rare dining experiences. His discerning taste, however, makes him a very picky eater. While many people are content with any fine dining, Robert’s expectations are always at the highest level. His curiosity for new flavors is matched only by his need for a ‘unique and exceptional’ culinary experience.Rachel Lee, born just a year later on November 1, 1998, is one of the family’s culinary artists, particularly drawn to the art of cake-making.Cooking, and especially the creation of cakes, is her true passion, and her creations have become one of Crownstead’s signature delights.Unlike her brother, Rachel isn’t very much a picky eater, but she takes immense pride in the visual appeal of her cakes. Aesthetics matter great—greatly to her.

The Invitation
Though Robert and Rachel Lee do not directly run Crownstead Manor, their roles within the family are far, far from ordinary. As descendants of one of the most esteemed branches of the Lee family legacy, they hold significant rights and responsibilities. In fact, for the upcoming banquet, they have been entrusted with the task of overseeing the entire event. It is a rare honor, but one well-deserved, as they are deeply committed to Crownstead’s storied traditions.
